JOSH KEMP is a singer-songwriter, composer, writer & filmmaker from Nottingham, UK.

He exploded onto the UK music scene in 2012 performing for the Nottingham Olympic Torch Ceremony. This led to bookings at music festivals like Y Not Festival and headlining the UK Scout Jamboree. The same year, due to support from BBC Introducing, Josh received his first nationwide airplay for his 

and used the momentum to book his first tour. He began gigging extensively, clocking up over two hundred gigs a year around the UK and Europe over the next 4 years, culminating in the release of his 'Chatterbox EP' in 2016.

Josh began a hiatus from touring in 2016 to complete his musical 'Breaking The Habit' and formed an independent film company called Chatterbox Films. The soundtrack for 'Breaking The Habit' was released on the 14th February 2020 and was the 6th most pre-ordered album in the UK, eventually placing at #3 in the soundtrack charts. The film is due to be released in 2021.

In 2019, Josh and his long time collaborator George Pierson began work on a new project, a series of 4 interconnected EPs, with the first, 'CRYSYLYS pt.1' being released in Nov 2020. 

His most recent release, 'From Our Family To Yours' placed #2 in the UK Jazz Charts. The EP was arranged, recorded and released in the Covid 19 lockdown and was performed by Josh, his brother Tom Hopcroft and sister Chloe Hopcroft, both professional actors.
